Introduction to network packet analysis
The attached PCAP file with the captured network traffic contains several tasks and curiosities. The capture consists of common activity such as web browsing but you can find also some more exotic examples of network communication.
There's no need to go through all over 140,000 packets manually, we recommended to try out some filtering and automation tools to simplify your analysis. Individual tasks contain references to the next steps, or they contain a hint of some kind.
