Why did you choose ESET?
I still remember when I was a kid I had my first task on a lesson of Informatics to update NOD32. Even in that time ESET had excellent reputation and since then I wanted to work here because I’ve always liked computers and my dream came true.
Through the years the name of the company was known more and more, as it is evidenced by various international antivirus tests.
What projects are you involved with?
I participate on the improvement of the product called ESET Remote Administrator, it is a web application for administrators for both large and small companies. The test environment consists of many virtual servers and client operating systems.
My job in a nutshell is that the application is "user friendly", I try to look at it from the customer's point of view, I give suggestions to improve its functions, etc.
What do you like the most about working in ESET?
I always wanted to work with the best people in the field and here I succeeded. I have humorous fellows without greasy hair as many people think that this is how the IT guys look like. Products have always new features, support for the new technologies and I like company benefits of course.
Why would you recommend ESET to your friends?
Everyone will find their own interest, there are all the inevitable tools and trainings. New colleagues obtain training plan, so that one does not have to worry about his/her beginnings as it is in many other companies. We help one another, go together on teambuildings and when it is necessary to clear our head, come to new ideas, we run into game zone, where Xbox/PlayStation, ping pong and other stuff await us.
